Young India Unleashing Knowledge & Innovation — the national repository that connects DTU innovators to mentorship, grants and incubation through DTU IIF.
What is YUKTI?
YUKTI is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC) and AICTE. It serves as a centralized national repository to host, manage and scout ideas, prototypes, innovations and startups emerging from academic institutions across India.
Role of DTU IIF
DTU Innovation & Incubation Foundation acts as the on-campus incubator. Verified innovations from the YUKTI repository receive structured mentorship, workspace, seed funding support and investor linkages to convert campus ideas into viable startups.
Who Can Apply
Any innovator associated with Delhi Technological University can submit ideas, prototypes or startups on the YUKTI portal.
How to Apply
Submissions are made on the national YUKTI portal. DTU’s Institution’s Innovation Council verifies and recommends entries.
Register on the YUKTI Portal
Visit yukti.mic.gov.in/registration/new and create an account. Select Delhi Technological University as your institution.
Submit Your Idea or Innovation
Choose Idea/PoC (TRL 1-3), Innovation/Prototype (TRL 4+) or Startup. Complete the form and upload supporting documents, photos and video links.
Institute Verification
DTU’s IIC team reviews and marks submissions as Recommended. Contact your department IIC coordinator if required.
Access Support & Incubation
Recommended innovations become eligible for mentorship, national challenges, grants and direct referral to DTU IIF for incubation.
